Time doesn’t just fly, it whizzes so fast, you wish you could encapsulate it for playback later. I was in Johor for almost 6 days covering 21 destinations for a 30-pager focus on the state. I’ve been to some fantastic places encountering silly ostriches & a chicken that plays dead. I can’t wait to have the magazine out for you to see. The current issue is out & it was produced with sweat & tears. I thank God for pulling me through the whole process. Can’t publish pictures here as they are meant for magazine but I’ll try sneaking in one or two.
I haven’t had as much time as to catch up on my sleep or play or even watch eight of the movies I had collected & it looks to me I might not have the chance to unless I take leave. Since the minister had been appointed, I’d been covering press conference after press conference. I dont’ leave the office until way pass 10pm & sometimes midnight because the work is just endless. And strangely, I’m loving every minute of it. I’ve lost some weight, gained bags under my eyes & have gone quite blur in vision since my irregular times but I tell myself, it’s to have a better life with Rufus soon……..we might move into a house should we get evicted from our condo…..hahahaha!!! Not that anyone wants to evict us but as the condo management is being wound up, the receivers may not like dogs & the situation with the security may get worse. And with my faithful service of walking Rufus day & night may warrant unnecessary attention…….and I hate to admit, the S&P agreement does state that no pets are allowed. I’m not going to like it one bit but beggars can’t be choosers, right? Though I love my current place & imagined a life of waking up to the breath of the forest air, the twitching of the tweeters & the flapping flock of the storks that pass my way, familiar faces, it may all come to nought. Though the sun is not going down on me, I will go wherever God leads but it may not be whatever I had imagined……
