2 or 3 years subsequent to the actual sale of the business.
Of course, it spirals from there if you have 1099
income or use additional schedules, such as income from a business, like Schedule C.
This can eventually lead them to the courts, which would spend them a lot more instead of just hiring a team
of financial experts, professionals who would work hard
to give them the business reports, analysis and assessments
they need.

I am also really amazed by the SPCA Seberang Perai which has a no kill policy. Its chairman, Mdm Tan is so polite and of course the strays there are all well kept. To those out there, please donate to this organisation which is housing strays exceeding its capacity. Thank You and May God Bless You

Not all SPCAs in Malaysia are the same. Check out the SPCA Seberang Perai. It’s actually NO-KILL shelter run by a kindly Madam Tan. Many people have raved about this special lady and her team.

Good to know there are still hope in certain SPCAs in Malaysia.

I have read the Blog of http://birdstalkingtoo.blogspot.com/ . There are one story deeply slices my hearts and makes my eyes watery… the picture of a small Shitzu Maltese which has perish in this unfortunate incidents; caused by those people with NO BRAIN and HEART!!!!! The visual of that helpless little puppy will stays with me forever! I pledge and will not to go to PULAU KETAM ever, I will spread the words to all my friends locally and foreign friends about this inhumane incidents and I am boycotting whatever products of any means comes from there!!!!! My money is definitely going to you Angel’s pledge and will try to assist as much as I could, will spread the awareness. Keep the good work and please keep the update publicly “LOUD AS YOU CAN” as some people choose to ignore and pretend that nothing had happened!! I love all of you and may God bless.

The RSPCA in Australia is very different, without exception, every single centre (and there are many) operates for the welfare of all animals, not only dogs and other domestic pets. For example you may find an injured bird or raccoon on the road and you can bring the animals to the centre and they will never, never be turned away. Actually if you don’t feel like taking the animals there yourself you can even phone the Animal Rescue number and someone will come round and take the animals off you.

There are many volunteers besides salaried people at these centres and they work there for the simple reason that they love animals. Nobody looks for personal glory or kudos. Most of the heroic things are done quietly and without fanfare.

All animals who enter any RSPCA centre is guaranteed of the best treatment and attention. Wild animals get released into the wilds again and unclaimed pets get the best chance of adoptions.

Of course animals get euthanased too but only after a period of time and adoption efforts have been exhausted. They are never ever refused entry and they get medical treatments accordingly.

I am actually quite apalled to hear that the SPCAs in M’sia are so different. Doesn’t their name says it all, that they are a society that protects animals? And that animal welfare is their first priority? It boggles the mind why the SPCA cannot work in tandem with FFF, after all don’t they share the same ideals, the welfare of the dogs?

It is just as well outfits like Sabrina’s FFF exist; she should be commended for her good work and my money is definitely going to her. As for the SPCA, maybe you should take out the charter again and re-read what you have forgotten. I am certain self glorification is not one of the aims.

Please delete my earlier comment ( sent 19/5,sometime late morning/noon) as there are errors and a reference to SPCA which I have decided to retract as I want to avoid commenting negatively on any party’s efforts or policies.I just want to appreciate all their efforts and hope for a more cooperation between all parties.

Sorry,I could’nt unfortunately edit my post as I had already pressed Submit.

I would instead just like to thank you personally, FFF and all the others for your rescue efforts. God Bless You All and keep you all safe.FYI I have already donated RM 300 (approx. a week ago) to FFF and will donate more soon.

Regards and thanks.

Keep up the good work rescuing pulau ketam dogs. I have been following the event everyday without fail in regard to this rescue mission. I myself have 2 dogs, Annie 5yrs and Anna, which I rescued and is now about 1.5yrs, both are mongrels. I am staying in Klang, its about 45mins drive to the port klang jetty. My house is a kampung house, I can offer to house the rescue dogs temporarily if u needed a place. Do not bother or take to heart of all the negative issues surrounding FFF and Sabrina Yeap. Continued with the rescue mission and not be side track, all we Malaysians, other parts of the world who are animal lovers are all the way behind you and FFF. Take good care and be strong.

Malaysia needs more people like Sabrina, You, Karin, Majorie, Er Win, TV SMith, Donald and the rest.

I truly cherish and look up to what FFF members have done to help all these helpless creation of God. I am sorry to hear about the boss you have, on how you were sacked for spending too much time with this mission. But that might be a good thing. God might have arranged it this way in order for you to commit fully in the mission. Looking at all the updates and actions that has happened for the rescue mission, i very much want to participate. I definitely wont be available everyday as i still need to attend to work and i am pretty sure my boss will not tolerate my participation as much as yours.

Money might not be something i can contribute much but i have time and would love to help in any way i can. I know you will be busy with the mission as well as spending times with all the rescued babied, but let me know how i can help.

I spoke to Sabrina before as well, that was before this mission started. I work in rotational shifts. I can arrange my schedule ahead to help in any way. I have never participated in a rescue mission, neither do i have long experience with dealing with dogs but i have been growing up with dogs my whole life and they are someone and some part of life i can never live without.

Hope there is something i can help with. I truly wish and hope for all the goodness and kindness in human to help these babies..

It means so much to me that a Muslim (Raja Hanim), and many more Muslim friends of ours, are helping us in our effort which some have been sabotaging. Your moral, financial, emotional support are critical in the days where we face the lions in the ring. Those who are seeking the destruction of Sabrina’s work are not only looking forward to see her fall but to see all that she has built, crumble to ruins.

I’m speaking the truth & only God knows & searches the heart. Just know that we are up against Goliath and whatever that I’m telling you is not made up to dramatise the issue. Even our supporters are being sabotaged. I honestly don’t see why anyone would want to tear her down except for personal vendetta. I’m going to sit & write the chronology of events now. Forgive me if I don’t reply soon enough to the comments. I’ve been receiving tons of email & even more phone calls in coordinating this rescue but you know what, to have two dogs (Hitam & Kuning) fighting over who gets to sleep outside the tent (with me inside) after they both unsuccessfully tried to sleep inside, is well worth my effort in this mission!

They blacklisted you for seeking their help so that your dog could have a better life? I wonder if they blacklisted Klang Punya Orang Besar who funded the dogs off to the islolated island or if they have blacklisted Pulau Ketam citizens who were paid RM90/dog caught. Or your ex neighbour Mr Francis.

It’s good for you to seek for help instead of leave your dog like Mr.Francis. 🙂 God bless you.

I kept reading the updates at TVSmith and also rallied my friends and family to spread the word, and to donate to FFF’s CIMB account. I am very impressed by Sabrina, TV and FFF in your tireless efforts to do something so right, but which many will try to ignore or hope the problem will just go away. I feel you are all God-send and are truly Angels on Earth to help those who cannot help themselves. My personal vow is i will keep supporting FFF as I know FFF team is doing a great job for the animals.

I write from Penang. Very long ago there was a stray who kept going back to my grandma’s place. It was probably some ppl’s dog but definitely not ours. My grandma was old and although she loved dogs, she couldn’t even take good care of herself, not to mention keeping another dog. My mum had no choice but to call that local society. After telling the lady (I remember she said it was a lady) the situation and telling her that the dog wasn’t ours, she got scolded with words like we take the dog when we want, and we abandoned it when we don’t want. (???) I mean, hello, that wasn’t our dog. And honestly, I don’t think scolding the public who called in to either help or enquire is a good way to educate the public about loving animals. My mum was very offended and never call them again even if she found any other animals worth saving. All thanks to the rude lady – yeah you have changed someone, but to a very bad way.
I hope we have a better society or organisation in Penang that we can reach. To be honest I myself had the dream of building a place like what Sabrina is doing for the strays when I was in college. When I found out about what FFF is doing (when the P.Ketam incident happened), my first thought was to contact Sabrina to ask for advice on how she managed to do for FFF, and perhaps get myself ready for something similar locally in the future. But I think she must be really busy now with the rescue mission. I’ll wait a while, and work with my current situation, until things are settled or better, and I’ll contact Sabrina. To Sabrina: I hope you don’t mind when I contact you then. 🙂

I’ve totally lost any confidence in a certain pet Society two years back after an extremely bad experienced. I rescued a black dog that’s been abandoned in my neighbourhood. It was very friendly with humans but was quite aggressive towards my own two dogs during feeding time. I wanted to temporarily home him until I find someone to adopt him but he couldn’t get along with my dogs (resulting in fights that draw minor bloody injury)

I haven’t heard of FFF back then and instead bring the dog to the Society. While I was carrying the dog in my arms (it was a mongrel) and explaining to the lady sitting in the desk, she just waved a piece of paper in my face and said, “no more space for dogs. if you want to leave him, we’ll have to put him to sleep. OK?”

No matter how I explain that the dog was still a pup and can be rehomed due to it’s very good temperament with humans, she told me to either keep it myself or leave it with them. I have no one to turn to help home the dog and to my everlasting regret, I was forced to leave the dog there and signed the paper. It was very distressing and the guilt never went away for me.

Ever since that incident, I swore NEVER to step foot in that Society again. To the indian lady in that Society who so casually talk about putting a perfectly healthy and friendly young dog to sleep (and I know there’s space coz I see a row of empty stalls in the courtyard!), SHAME ON YOU!!

I have only met with Sabrina 3 times and I know exactly what you are talking about. And without her and FFF, I would not been able to place my mongrel dogs there at the farm with her kindness. And I am forever grateful to her. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know what sort of person Sabrina is. First encounter, people will be awed by her humility, dedication and compassion, among many things, about Sabrina. Some posts of pet forums have tried to discredit her and FFF, claiming since FFF is a private company, suggesting that she uses the donations to her own ‘whims’. I was damn mighty pissed off and so was Ashley. Especially Ashley.

And no matter what, there are plenty of supporters behind Sabrina and FFF, and you too, Pam. Sabrina is lucky to have you as her friend.

By: Mrs Tham http://pummkin.net/2009/05/living-a-life-so-full/#comment-24944 Fri, 15 May 2009 18:05:57 +0000 http://pummkin.net/?p=561#comment-24944 Well I have an incident here in which I wish to share. Happened some I think 14 years ago with this Soceity..I think you and Sabrina should know which I am referring to. I was single, renting a room at an apartment, with a salary of RM1800+- at that time, had to put up with my room RM200 and my car instlmt RM580 and food and petrol and car maintenance which left me hardly RM100 to save. I had loved dogs all my life and at that time I were at a friends place noticed a stray puppy by the road side and couldn’t help but to sneak her back to my room. I kept her there for nearly 2 weeks but when my hsemates found out, you know some people are really against dogs, so I have no choice but to seek help from S-CA. It was an Indian lady at the desk that dealt with my case. I told her my situation and hope they can take him in and I can contribute monthly about RM50 for keeping him there until maybe after a year or so when I am better of and can afford my own place, I can keep him back. They said they cannot do that. Then they ask me to have the dog neuter and that it may have a better chance at adoption. And I paid for the whole process. Then they say I have to place him at a house nearby in Ampang as well under the care of some lady because they do not have this kind of service to house the dog. And that I have to come out with approx RM120/mth to upkeep him there. I have pleaded with them but during that time I can’t think of practically anything/anywhere/anyone I can go to. So I left my pup at that house. I had paid the mthly fee without fail and visited him twice weekly but things were not too smooth on my side so eventually after about 7 months, I called the lady informing her I cannot afford to pay her RM120 anymore. I told her that should anyone wants to adopt him, please let them. So I paid the lady another 2 months’ fee and gave my dog a big hug and left him there. I was in tears but at that point I had to let go. After about 1/2 year I called the lady again to see whether I can get back my pooch…but was curse and swear at. She said she doesn’t have my dog there anymore but didn’t tell me where is it despite me asking. So I guess someone had adopted him or S-CA may have called the SHOTs! I pray that someone had taken him in. Then after about 4 years down the road, I was married and have my own place. My hubby is no dog lover but does not object to me keeping a dog or 2. So I was so happy and thought I can adopt an unwanted pup from S-CA and give it a good home. When I was there, this same Indian lady sort of like can remember me and she checked some files and immediately told me I was banned by S-CA from adopting as I had left my pup there before and they have no confident in me keeping a pet. I told them my situation and do not mind house visit from them to check on the pet but I was like satan to them and they were like the Saints then. My hubby was so angry at the way I was being treated by this people there. So eventually we went back empty handed. I was so sad that time coz i knew I can help 1 or 2 pups there to a good home.
Another time, I had lost my cat and after about 3 days of searching I had no choice but to go to S-CA to see whether some pound had caught her and sent her there. How relieve was I when I found her there. I immediately got her out. Paid some fee and was being scolded for not keeping her safe. I was even told that if I were to come a few days later, they would have called the SHOTs too. How do you expect I keep my cat?-I asked them. In a cage? After these 2 incidents, I really have no confident with this Society despite all the campaigns they did, obviously some nice mixed pedigree pups will get a chance to adoption but what happen to those normal breeds?? I think Sabrina should know the answer better here. After reading your Living a Life So Full, I have no words but to fully endorse what you have writen there. They are like what the chinese says “Hang goat’s head but sell dog’s meat” kinda management. I fully support Sabrina’s No Kill Sanctuary and had started contributing to her FFF after this PKetam incident as I was not aware of FFF before this. Now I know which is the more humane sanctuary I should support…
BTW I have 2 dogs now, both females, with me for 6 years now….1 named Happy (my hubby got me as a present) and another named Twinkle (an abandon dog by my ex-neighbor, as when they shifted they left her behind after she had done her duties for 8 years keeping their home safe). My ex-neighbor Mr Francis of Subang Jaya, I hope you are reading this!
