Well, I met Cede Prudente & kidnapped him for an autograph (or rather 6 autographs on all of my bird books!) before I put him on the flight back home where he’s scheduled to meet with a few other National Geographic photographers on their visit to Borneo. To my pleasant surprise, I bumped into Jamie, who was my student & a pilot with MAS, waiting for his colleagues to take them home. We had a long chat over Chai & Cheesecake while Cede told us about his place in Sukau, Sabah. I am very eager to make a visit to see what is there at the Kinabatangan River while knowing that I wouldn’t just be contending with flying frogs & falling geckos but a Meanie Salt Water Croc called Frankie as well.
As I returned from my frolics at Berjaya Redang Beach Resort, thereafter Tenggol, I have to caution you about an over-friendly mutt that I met while boarding the boat at Dungun. It is so easy to fall in love with him as this suave, furry, lovable four-legged darling comes to greet you & nudge you with his muzzle. I had to tear myself away when we departed. And he did resemble my dog before too except that he had hazel eyes…..A touch of home ground perhaps….
My cat in Tenggol is no more. We suspect he’s been taken by the python. So for now, I will mourn the demise of my holiday pet until Paul decides to get a dog soon…..
wahh…it’s really been a long time since i last met jamie 😛

I read blog sites on allowing older individuals remain in their
homes for the rest of their lives a lot but I have actually never been obliged to post a remark, till now.
Fantastic short article. I enjoyed reading it. I’ve bookmarked your website
and shared this post on my Facebook wall.
Thanks again for your quality work!
