Thank u for dropping in! Well, it was a lot of hours of figuring out what on earth those website’s tutorials were talking about when I wanted to do a simple thing, that is to integrate a blogging software into Joomla, a great content management system. So after trying out their plugins, which didn’t work for me, I’ve decided to create a sub-domain & install the whole WordPress application into that folder instead. There is an ‘import’ function for Blogger but you must first tweak your Blogger settings/formattings before you begin the import.

Things you must have before you decide on hosting WordPress yourself(which gives you a lot of control & very little downtime).

1) Register for your own domain name & hosting. Mine cost me RM35 + RM100 per year respectively, so it’s a great investment to have your own identity on the web! You can register online at a Malaysian company here – http://www.eternalsolutions.com

2) Patience to go through the tutorials of setting it up.

3) Drink lots of calming teas in case you lose it, like I did, for days!!!

I would love to know if you have decided to migrate & if I’m online, I’d be glad to guide you with the installation.
