How do you say goodbye to a dear friend when she’s been with you longer than your longest companion? How do you say thank you for all the times she’s helped you through tough times & never expected you to repay? How do you let go of someone so precious before you are ready to??? You etch their memories into your heart & imprint their antics into your mind & let their bodies go to a place where you know she will find solace in knowing she has served you well, lived a full life & finished the last race. Now you have to start anew & live your life so that you have more of yourself to give, to another who will fill that void in you …….for you know Moggie would have wanted that for her beloved master too. Andy, I mourn with you & I pray for God’s grace to be upon you & His comforting hands to hold you when you miss her. I pray that you would be surrounded with friends to help you through this loss & may you heal as time passes. This day has come for me to say goodbye to the dear cat whom I have grown to love over the last 2 years. Farewell, my dear Moggie…….
4am & I couldn’t sleep so i thought i would check what my friends were up to in 2007. I couldn’t believe the headline in your blog Pamela. So sorry for Andy’s – and your – loss of beloved Moggie. Andy & Moggie’s bond…this time of grieving… no words can console. I’m just with you, sharing some of your sadness. As my Buddhist friends will tell you “She will be back!”

Though I do not personally know Andy or Moggie. But I can emphatize with you on the loss. I know how it hurts and just so you know, we too grieve over the treasured loss.
